Lydia Harrod has over 33 years of legal experience in Florida in various civil litigation practice areas. Lydia assists with all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice, including review and drafting legal documents, legal research and review, client communications, and coordination and preparation for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. Lydia’s extensive litigation experience is matched by her ability to ensure that the firm’s clients receive the attention they deserve.

Lydia received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, and earned the distinction of being a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants, as well as a Florida Registered Paralegal with The Florida Bar. Lydia has also been involved with the local Tampa Bay Paralegal Association where she held the position of Director for several years, and mentored students and new paralegals in the practice of law as a paralegal.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Lydia moved to the Tampa area in 1985. She is an active volunteer with the American Heart Association as well as her church, and she enjoys all outdoor activities.
