Deborah Alexander has worked in the legal field since 1985.  She is a certified paralegal and has worked as a paralegal, legal secretary and office manager.  She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from U.C. Berkeley with two bachelor’s degrees, one in French (with Honors) and one in German.  Deborah attended the Paralegal Institute at Santa Clara University’s School of Law.

The practice of law today has drastically changed since she started work as a paralegal, in large part due to technology which enables lawyers and their staff to handle cases in every state court in California.  Instead of needing to know the court rules and procedures for one or perhaps two courts, lawyers and staff need to be able to access court rules and procedures for every state court and judge – in real time.  Deborah’s goal is to meet this ongoing challenge and she is committed to learning and sharing new skill sets with all staff in order to continue to help the firm excel.

Deborah is married with one son and five indoor cats.  She enjoys gardening, restoring wooden boats with her husband, needlework and music.
