Diana M. Cao is a litigation attorney. Ms. Cao’s civil practice focuses on the areas of tort litigation, premises liability, and landlord-tenant law. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. Ms. Cao is dedicated to resolving her clients’ issues as efficiently as possible, and has experience representing clients in pre-litigation investigation and negotiations, mediations to achieve resolution prior to trial, and all aspects of litigation, including law and motion practice.

Ms. Cao obtained her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While at Hastings, Ms. Cao externed at the United States District Court, Northern District, with the Honorable Laurel Beeler. During this time, and prior to joining de la Peña & Holiday, Ms. Cao also externed for a variety of in-house companies around the Bay Area including: Varian Medical Systems in Palo Alto, Zscaler in San Jose, and LendingHome in San Francisco. Some of her in-house experience includes advising the companies on regulatory and compliance matters at the federal, state, and local levels; employment matters; and data privacy matters abroad related to technology clients.
